  • From mockups to printed production in six weeks
I was involved in the packaging and box design for a Tuft & Needle brand project, working closely with the art director. My focus was on creating early mockups to explore structure, scale, and how the concept would translate into a physical object. The project centered around a custom card game designed as a brand touchpoint, using a miniature version of Tuft & Needle's mattress box. The packaging helped bring the brand story into a more social, everyday setting while staying true to its core values of comfort and affordability. The mockups were used to present and refine the concept before moving into print. The final packaging was produced and printed as part of the campaign.

Key Design Moments & Impact

01

The box in miniature

Shrinking the mattress box kept the brand recognizable in the palm of a hand.

Reflection

Small object, full brand. Scale changes; values should not.
