THE FIRST TIME I HIT AN AI LIMIT
I was building a website when the conversation suddenly stopped. What surprised me wasn't the limit itself. It was the feeling.

Today was the first time I hit Claude's usage limit.
I was building a website and experimenting with a background video when the conversation suddenly stopped. It caught me off guard.
What surprised me wasn't the limit itself. It was the feeling.
When you're deep in a project, AI starts to feel like another creative tool. You ask questions, test ideas, make changes, and keep moving. Then, all of a sudden, you have to stop and wait.
I opened the diagnostics out of curiosity and saw that my context window was already 91% full. Most of it was just our conversation — ideas, revisions, and experiments from the session.
Instead of waiting for the timer to reset, I went back to my own website and looked at it with fresh eyes. In a strange way, the pause helped.
It reminded me that AI is great for exploring ideas, but sometimes stepping away is just as valuable.
Studio note: the limit didn't frustrate me. It showed me how quickly these tools had become part of how I create — and that the pause is part of the process too.
